Having invested more than 400 million euros, Latvijas Finieris is preparing for a major leap forward

The Latvijas Finieris Group is currently in a major phase of economic development, which began in 2023 and will come to an end next year. With an investment of more than 400 million euros, Latvijas finieris plans to increase its turnover to at least 500 million euros over the next three to four years, up from the current 414 million euros.

IN SHORT:

Just over 90% of the birch plywood produced under the “Riga Wood” brand is exported to 47 countries.
Birch plywood solutions are used in more than 30 sub-sectors.
Sales companies have been established in 12 countries – mainly in Europe, but there are also companies in the US, Japan and Turkey.
Back in 2010, Latvijas finieris faced an attempted hostile takeover.
A company of the Baltic Sea region with plywood production facilities in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland.
All investments, whether direct or indirect, are aimed at increasing the Group’s export capacity.
It would be important to encourage discussion on land use.
