For many years, Latvijas Finieris and Riga Wood have celebrated Forest Day – a meaningful tradition that allows us to give back to nature while strengthening team spirit and our relationships with customers and partners. 

Each year, several hundred employees of Latvijas Finieris and Riga Wood, together with their families and cooperation partners, dedicate a day to planting new birch groves. 

Last year, during the Forest Day 2025, we successfully planted 12,000 birch saplings and 2,000 spruce saplings.

Our Experience and Expertise

Through our work, we are creating higher-quality, more productive forests that sequester carbon faster and more efficiently – helping the Baltics meet environmental goals.

In 2025, we carried out regeneration fellings on 81 hectares of forest, while we regenerated 420 hectares and afforested 204 hectares.
