At the end of 2018 Latvijas Finieris Group has restarted active work of U.S.A. regional product development and sales office Riga Wood North America, Inc. Main goal is to strengthen presence of birch plywood brand Riga on the North American market, and to assess opportunities to develop a specific application of birch plywood for this region.

A motivated Group sales specialist, Edgars Kerijs, has been appointed as Managing Director of the company, while the location of Riga Wood North America, Inc. has been selected in Brookline, Massachusetts, in immediate vicinity of Boston City and its infrastructure.

“Decision to resume the operation of the company founded in 2002 was made in line with the Group’s development strategy, based on a thorough research of the U.S. market. We are confident that the extent of the U.S. market will enable us to work both on collaborative development with existing customers, and at new business initiatives”
