Latvijas Finieris Receives the Prestigious Platinum Mouse Award

Latvijas Finieris Group has been awarded the prestigious annual ICT award Platinum Mouse 2018 in the category Digital transformation of the enterprise on November 29 by the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA). The experts have shown their high recognition for the implementation project of the Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 Enterprise Resource Planning system that Latvijas Finieris has been carrying out for several years now.
“This is the most extensive digitalization project of this kind of industrial company in the Baltics and an excellent example of cross-industry cooperation. By implementing the project, we have acquired a great amount of new knowledge and ICT solutions that provide more efficient resource management, manufacturing and logistics processes, laying a steady foundation for further growth of the Group in both near and distant future. Resource planning and timing accuracy has improved by using the information system capabilities, thus providing a faster and less labour-intensive information exchange from production processes to the end customer of our products. The transportation and logistics processes have also become more convenient and transparent, and the accuracy of cost calculations has increased.

The Platinum Mouse is a prized award that has been presented for the past 12 years in various categories for innovative ICT solutions and outstanding achievements. This year among the nominated finalists in the category Digital Transformation of the Enterprise were The Latvian Council of Sworn Notaries and Valmiera Glass Group (AS Valmieras stikla šķiedra).
