A cooperation agreement between Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA) and Latvijas Finieris was concluded on 16 January this year.

It aims to support the process and creative activities of students’ professional development according to the specificity of the educational area in the directions of musical performance, dance, pedagogy and research. It is an opportunity for young talent to gain financial support for the implementation of various activities – participation in international competitions, workshops, masterclasses, research and other projects.

It should be noted that on 11 January 2019, JVLMA celebrated its 99 th anniversary.
