Until March 18 there are no COVID-19 infections confirmed among Latvijas Finieris Group employees. Colleagues who have returned from COVID-19 affected country or territory or who have been in contact with COVID-19 affected persons perform 14 days home quarantine. Latvijas Finieris Security and Safety Department is doing its best to provide safe environment at all Latvijas Finieris Group units strongly based on World Health Organisation recommendations. Latvijas Finieris has canceled all business trips to other countries, also all foreign visits (customers, suppliers, cooperation partners etc.) to any Latvijas Finieris Group unit. There are increased safety recommendations for employed long distance drivers and for employees who meet long distance drivers from other countries or other companies.
