Once in a generation the Swiss Brotherhood of Winegrowers (Confrérie des Vignerons) organises the Winegrowers’ Festival (Fête des Vignerons) to celebrate its wine-growing traditions and culture. This several centuries old viticultural tradition is unique in the world and takes place in Vevey, the town situated at the heart of the viticultural region Lavaux, in the canton of Vaud, in Switzerland.

Last five times festival was held in 1905, 1927, 1955, 1977 and 1999. Bigger and brighter than ever it will gather wine lovers from entire world also this year from 18th July to 11th August. For this occasion, an arena for more than 15,000 spectators is going to be built in the town’s marketplace — the Grande Place, which is the second-biggest marketplace in Europe, after Lisbon, Portugal. We are proud to announce, that Riga birch plywood will also be present at festival – Latvijas Finieris will deliver six truckloads of Riga Tex for stage constructions and flooring.
