Each year, the EPF AGM brings together industry leaders to explore industry dynamics and anticipate forthcoming challenges. This year, the spotlight will be on the crucial role of North-East Europe in the sector and plywood manufacturing. The event promises a rich agenda encompassing various engaging activities, offering participants invaluable insights into the latest developments and trends.

In addition to the discussions, participants will have a chance to visit Latvijas Finieris’ tree nursery Zābaki and see the latest investments in the nursery’s expansion. The new seedling storage technologies will enable the development of forestry and will reduce losses of finished products. The new nursery building complex stands out with its wooden construction solutions and it will provide representatives of various scientific institutions with the opportunity to gather knowledge and data for a much broader application of wood as a material in the future. This knowledge will undoubtedly promote the use of wood in construction.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2025.
