Share of people vaccinated against Covid-19 at Latvijas Finieris Group approaching 100%

In Latvia all of more than 2,000 Latvijas Finieris Group mills workers have been vaccinated against Covid-19 as required by the national regulations for epidemiologically safe on-site work. Workers in Likmere (Lithuania) and Sastamala (Finland) mills are almost all vaccinated, while at Kohila Vineer (Estonia) more than half of workers have received vaccines.

The fact that vaccination in combination with well obeyed safety measures give the desired result is confirmed by the very low morbidity rate among the employees of Latvijas Finieris.
“Colleagues get infected mostly outside the work environment and usually they have just some slight symptoms. Most importantly, we have not had any fatal cases at Latvijas Finieris Group. We have achieved the main goal – to ensure the safety of employees and the continuity of production processes.”

That being said he reminds us the overall epidemiological situation is fragile and the virus continues to change, adapt, and the global struggle certainly is not over.
