This summer, the Riga Wood GmbH team welcomed Marcel Schütz – a young professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. As a Sales Manager at Riga Wood GmbH, he will ensure effective and professional service to customers, contributing to the overall development of the company.

“In my previous commercial experience, I worked as a key account manager and as a field sales manager in wholesale companies, specifically in the wood trade. While working in the field of sales I discovered my great enthusiasm for advising and supporting customers, and also my passion for wood-based materials.”

Marcel is also a passionate footballer. In his free time he referees in the professional leagues of the German Football Association and also enjoys playing football with colleagues. Running, cycling and skiing are among the activities he enjoys doing.

In his academic career, Marcel has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management and a Master’s degree in International Management with a focus on Financial Management, Financial Accounting and Control, as well as Taxation.
