Birch plywood
for road transport
Driving innovation
Birch plywood, due to its durability and impact resiliencies, is widely used in heavy commercial vehicles, safeguarding car structures in light vehicles and preventing surface deformations in heavy trailers. It offers adaptability and low maintenance in light trailers, insulation in reefer trailers, and versatility in speciality trailers, buses and passenger cars.
- Excellent strength-to-weight ratio
- Wear-resistant, durable surfaces with anti-slip properties
- Excellent long-term durability under heavy load conditions
- Visually attractive and multifunctional
- Environmentally friendly and with a long life cycle
- Easy to process and customise, cost-effective, and suitable for diverse applications in light and heavy road transport
Plywood applications
Heavy commercial vehicles
Birch plywood is used in cargo compartment floors and side panels, offering extended durability and resilience against impacts. Plywood coated with films featuring anti-slip and high wear-resistant properties is particularly well-suited for this purpose.
Light commercial vehicles
Birch plywood is applied in floor and wall coverings, protecting the car structure from damage that may occur during cargo transportation. Built-in shelf and cabinet systems are also made from birch plywood.
Heavy trailers
Birch plywood is utilised for flooring and wall coverings, where its high bending strength prevents surface deformations, even when transporting exceptionally heavy loads. The inclusion of anti-slip films further enhances cargo transportation safety.
Light trailers
Birch plywood is used in both flooring and side constructions. It offers durability, low maintenance requirements and adaptability, allowing for customisation through cutting into various sizes or designing holes and grooves.
Reefer trailers
Birch plywood, known for its resistance to low temperatures and exceptional bending strength, is commonly applied in constructing sandwich panels for floor and wall systems, serving as an insulation component.
Speciality trailers
Birch plywood is a popular selection for crafting diverse custom trailers, including those designed for animal transport, mobile kitchens and cafes, as well as trailers used for transporting snowmobiles and other specialised vehicles.
Buses
Birch plywood is applied in bus flooring and cargo compartments to minimise vibrations and noise during transportation. Particularly well-suited are birch plywood products with wear-resistant coatings that provide anti-slip properties and are easy to maintain.
Passenger cars
Birch plywood is chosen for luggage compartments due to its durability, ease of processing and versatility in fitting various car cargo spaces. The wide array of decorative coatings, which are also simple to maintain, enables customisation and enhancement of the car's interior design.
