Supervisory Board

Juris Biķis is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Latvijas Finieris since 2004 and has been working for Latvijas Finieris since its foundation the 2nd of October 1992.

Having an education and expertise of woodworking engineer Mr. Biķis is also the President of the Latvian Forest Industry Federation, sits in the Supervisory Board of the Employers Confederation of Latvia and represents many professional and ngo’s.

Mr. Biķis has been awarded with The Three Star Order (Fourth Class), The Cross of Recognition (Third Class), the Spidola award in the Latvian national economy and forest sector Golden Cone award for lifetime achievements.

Juris Matvejs is the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2010, and before that, a Member of the Executive Board and the director of Lignums mill. 

He has been working for Latvijas Finieris since its foundation the 2nd of October 1992. Education and specialisation - woodworking engineer.  

Andris Pucēns is a Member of the Supervisory Board since 2004, and before that a Member of the Executive Board and Head of Development and Investments.

He has been working for Latvijas Finieris since its foundation the 2nd of October 1992. Education and specialisation - energy engineer.
